Here's What They Say...

about the wine...

Earl says: " This is absolutely the finest wine you'll find not just here but just about anywhere. John and his daughter Caitlin Pianetta are the kindest most well spoken vintners around. The tasting room run by Kelly and her staff always make you feel at home..."

Brian says: "The wine is excellent! A must visit for first timers. A favorite for locals and wine snobs; ) The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. If you decide to join the club, their the best in the region with awesome perks and fantastic wine events."

Jared says: "Fantastic Wine with amazing people, they make you feel like family."

about the camping...

Jenice says: "Caitlin, John and Beau (the dog) are great hosts! We had a blast there! The winery is beautiful, quiet, serene, and the wine is superb. I definitely recommend this site to those who like to look at the stars with a bottle of Pianetta wine. We are already planning our next trip there! Thank you Pianetta Winery, you guys are great!!"

David says: "Such a great property and kind hospitality from Caitlin. We stayed two nights in our RV and it was a perfect getaway from the city. We did the barrel tasting and cheese course and it was a nice addition to a camping experience. The outdoor showers were a huge plus too! We will definitely be back!"

Jane says: "My friend and I stayed at Pianetta Ranch and Winery in December. John Pianetta, the owner of the land and fourth generation California farmer, met us as we pulled in our campervan. He gave the basics and a folder - his daughter, Caitlin, had put together with local attractions and restaurants. This site has a wood burning grill(and aged wood to use), several picnic tables, and our favorite; a fire pit stocked with dried vines for burning. There is a bathroom that was impeccably clean and outdoor shower which we opted out of...it went down to 25 F one of the nights we stayed! Close by you can visit Paso los Robles which hosts a variety of restaurants, shops, and of course wine. We drove to the coast to see Elephant seals in

San Simeon and lunch in Cambria. The Hearst Castle is in that area, too. Caitlin and her father were gracious hosts. Highly recommend."
